I’m Kate
About me
Massage has taken me further than I ever expected.
I’m Kate, a massage therapist, sound healer and educator based in Sheffield.
I qualified in 2017, and since then massage has become much more than a job for me. It has given me my own business, taken me around the world, introduced me to some wonderful people and given me a way to do something I genuinely love every day.
But after everything that has happened along the way, my favourite part is still quite simple: welcoming someone into my treatment room and giving them a little time that is completely theirs.

I’m incredibly proud of these moments, especially because I know where I started.
But I’m still Kate.
I still work from my little treatment room in Sheffield, make mistakes,
learn new things and get excited when I discover a technique I want to try.
My approach
I stopped trying to fit massage into separate boxes.
Over the years I’ve trained in many different styles, and eventually I realised I didn’t want to choose between them.
I love being able to move from something deeper and more focused into slower, softer work, add movement or stretching, or bring sound into a treatment when it feels right.
That freedom is a big part of why I still love what I do.
Teaching
Somewhere along the way, I fell in love with teaching too.
I love sharing techniques, but I also love the conversations that happen around them. The things we learn from our clients, the mistakes we make, the awkward moments nobody prepares us for, and all the little things that slowly shape us into the therapists we become.
Today I teach massage techniques, run workshops and create education for other therapists.
