Therapeutic Massage – A Treatment Tailored to You
Massage isn’t just about relaxation, and it doesn’t have to be deep tissue to be effective. Every body is different, and so is every treatment. Whether you’re looking to release deep-seated tension, ease chronic pain, improve mobility, or simply unwind after a long day, your session will be fully customized to suit your needs.
I believe in a balanced approach to massage therapy—one that blends relaxation with targeted techniques to help your body heal and reset. There’s no “one-size-fits-all” here. Some areas may need deep, focused work, while others may benefit from gentle, soothing strokes. It’s all about finding what works best for you in the moment.
What to Expect During Your Session
When you come in for a treatment, we’ll take the time to discuss how you’re feeling and what you need from the session. Depending on your goals, I may incorporate a variety of techniques, including:
Relaxation techniques to help calm the nervous system and reduce stress
Deep tissue work to release chronic tension and stubborn knots
Sports massage elements to improve mobility, circulation, and muscle recovery
Trigger point therapy and myofascial release for pain relief and flexibility
Stretching and movement-based techniques to enhance range of motion
Communication is key. I encourage you to share what feels good and what doesn’t so we can adjust the pressure, focus areas, and techniques to ensure the best experience.
This treatment is perfect for those who:
✔ Experience muscle tightness, stiffness, or chronic pain
✔ Want a balance between deep and soothing techniques
✔ Need support with injury recovery or postural issues
✔ Feel stressed or overwhelmed and need a reset
✔ Want to invest in long-term health and well-being
Whether you prefer a deeply therapeutic session or a gentler, more nurturing experience, we’ll work together to create a massage that supports your body exactly as it needs.

There are certain contraindications or situations where massage should not be performed.
These contraindications may include:
Inflammatory conditions: If you have an acute inflammatory condition such as a fever, swollen glands, or an active infection, massage may be contraindicated as it can spread the infection or exacerbate the inflammation.
Open wounds or skin conditions: If you have open wounds, rashes, burns, or any skin condition that is contagious or inflamed, massage should be avoided as it can further irritate or infect the affected area.
Blood clots: If you have a blood clot or are at risk of developing one, massage may not be safe as it can dislodge the clot and cause serious complications.
Cardiovascular conditions: If you have a heart condition, high blood pressure, or any other cardiovascular condition, massage may need to be modified or avoided altogether.
Cancer: For individuals with cancer, I recommend seeking the services of a massage therapist who specializes in oncology massage. They possess the knowledge and training necessary to provide safe and effective treatments tailored to the unique needs of individuals undergoing cancer treatment.
Pregnancy: Similarly, for pregnant clients, I encourage seeking the expertise of a massage therapist who specializes in prenatal massage. They possess the specialized training and experience to address the specific concerns and considerations associated with pregnancy.
Osteoporosis: If you have osteoporosis, certain massage techniques may be contraindicated as they can cause fractures or other complications.
It is important to discuss any medical conditions or concerns with me before your session to ensure that massage is safe and appropriate for you. I may also modify the session or use different techniques to accommodate your needs and ensure your safety.
